Wondering what activities, groups, and supportive communities exist at Berkeley? Wanting to understand more about how Berkeley supports students of color? Looking for information about gender inclusivity at Berkeley? Have other questions about belonging at Cal? This is a great opportunity to ask all your questions and learn from current students and from staff.


Student Panelist

Caleb Albornoz is a current MICS student working as a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Wipro Limited. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a B.Sc. in computer science and mathematics. 

Noor-Ul-Ain Ali, current 5th Year student, hopes to use data to benefit the community she grew up in, and the community she lives in now. She was a participant in the University of California’s Early Academic Outreach Program, which assists underserved high school students with access to higher education. She was also a recipient of the Sharon X. Lin and Andrew R. Bullen Graduate Fellowship in Data Science. Noor graduated with a bachelors degree in data science. 

Wadzanai Makomva is a second-year MIMS student focusing on product management and data science. Over the summer, she worked as a Product Manager Intern at WePay. Before coming to the I School, Wadzanai worked as an Internal Control Analyst at LafargeHolcim and graduated from Rhodes University with a B.Com. in economics and mathematical studies
